Ouli Personal Concierge App Connects Technology and Performing Arts

Local Theater Performances in Experience CommunityArlington, VA – November 14, 2016 – Arlington-based software company, Dante Inc., announced the addition of theaters to the Ouli App. Ouli is a uniquely intelligent personal concierge app that presents consumers with offers and suggestions for local merchants and events that are personalized based on their chosen activities, time, location, history and preferences. The app is available for free download on iOS and Android devices.
By adding the “Experience Community” intent, users can now find local theater performances, upcoming community events, art installations, community festivals and more. With this new search option, users can explore aspects of their city they might not otherwise discover.
This new partnership with local theaters allows users to quickly learn about what’s happening at their neighborhood theater, add the event to their calendar and set a reminder. Users can search in real time if they are already out and looking for immediate events or select a date in the future to plan a day or evening out.
“Dining out and shopping are only a small part of enjoying a community. Cultural events, sports, performing arts; there are so many great things to do in cities. The Metro DC area has a very robust performing arts scene and we want to make it easier than ever for residents to enjoy and support their local theaters,” said Pierre Malko, Dante’s CEO. “By fusing technology and performing arts we are bringing theaters to top of mind for the age old question, ‘what should we do tonight?’ Within minutes Ouli users can plan an entire day or weekend out. Users can find what they want to do and then make it happen all within the app. No additional searching and planning required.”
The app is available in many parts of Northern Virginia including Arlington, Alexandria, Falls Church City and Mosaic District. Users can also find many Washington D.C. neighborhoods in the app. Since its launch in 2015 Ouli has been partnering with hundreds of businesses including restaurants, salons, spas, boutiques and now theaters to connect users to merchants and build connections that might not otherwise be created. To see a full list of neighborhoods and theaters, users can download the app or visit www.ouliapp.com.
To build a personal experience, the app learns users’ preferences over time and begins to tailor offers and suggestions based on those preferences. Consumers can download the app for free to see what merchants and offers are currently available in their area. Theaters and merchants interested in partnering with the app can contact the Ouli team.
