Penrose Square Winter Wonderland Dec. 7

Penrose Square on Columbia Pike is pleased to announce that they will be holding their first annual Penrose Square Winter Wonderland, a free holiday event that will be held for the Arlington community on Sunday, December 7, 2014.

Penrose Square invites people of all ages to join together to celebrate the holidays. Santa will be available in the Leasing Office for visits and photos from 1:00PM – 5:00PM. During this time, Penrose Square will also have carolers, snowflake and ornament decoration stations, hot chocolate and cookies from Giant, and goodie bags from retailers on Columbia Pike.

This event will also give guests the chance to participate in the judging of the Columbia Pike Window Decorating Contest. Retailers between Wayne Street and S. Walter Reed Drive are asked to decorate their store fronts and ‘Light The Pike’ with holiday spirit. Prizes will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.

The Penrose Square Winter Wonderland event will close with a tree-lighting ceremony in the breezeway next to Giant at 5:00PM.
Penrose Square will also be a host location for Toys For Tots. Guests are encouraged to bring new and unwrapped toys at the event for the toy donation box.
