Water Main Break Near Shirlington

Update at 10:30 a.m. — S. Walter Reed Drive has reopened ahead of schedule.

A water main break has shut down the southbound lanes of S. Walter Reed Drive at Four Mile Run. Authorities expect repairs to be completed by noon.
