I wish 7-11 would go away. Nothing but a scum magnet.

No…I need a place for my Slurpees.

Wonder if it was the same person who knocked over the Shell station Monday night?

    • Since I don’t have a solid description yet, I can’t say one way or the other for sure. But at this point it doesn’t sound like it.

Yeah… Doesn’t sound like it now that the report is out. Interesting that there’s a bit more action down that way on Wilson this week.

Do we even have a police force?

My son goes to the elementary school right across the street, and I am by that 7-11 several times a day at all hours (we also live nearby). It seems like there are always police cars there?!? At least one, and sometimes two. Also, across the street at Two Chefs, Safeway parking lot, school parking lot, and the fire station just across Wilson. Just seems odd to me, b/c I’m always extra careful about everything around there b/c there are soo many police cars (at least parked) nearby?!?

I thought the same thing. There are ALWAYS cops there. This had to be a spur of the moment thing. I can’t imagine anyone would case this store and decide it was a good one to rob.

As an aside, I never thought of that area to be Bluemont. I always think further down Wilson.

That’s definitely Bluemont; there is a sign beside the BP station. Just came from there — 2 police cars at Safeway and one at Two Chefs. I think the person who robbed it wasn’t from Arlington or at least doesn’t frequent that area?!?
