Crime Report: Nintendo Stolen

A Nintendo gaming system was stolen from a home in the Douglas Park neighborhood on Saturday.

According to this week’s Arlington County crime report, the suspect seemingly made a clean getaway.

BURGLARY, 140301049, 3500 block of S. 15th Street.  Between 11 am and 7 pm on March 1, an unknown suspect(s) entered a victim’s residence and stole a Nintendo gaming system.  There is no suspect(s) description.

BANK ROBBERY, 140228037, 3500 block of Columbia Pike. On February 28 at 5:39 pm, an unknown suspect approached a bank teller and implied he had a weapon. The suspect demanded cash and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount.  The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 26-30 years old. At the time of the incident he was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a black baseball cap with a white Chicago Bulls logo on the front.

ARMED ROBBERY, 140302015, 800 block of N. Randolph Street.  On March 2 at 2:25 am, three victims were allegedly approached by three unknown suspects and robbed at gunpoint.  The suspects are described as black males, wearing black jackets and gray ski masks.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 140303007, 700 block of N. Barton Street.  On March 3 at 3:25 am, an unknown suspect entered a residence through an unlocked door and left when confronted by the resident.  The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 30-35 years old with a shaved head. He was wearing dark pants and a white T-shirt at the time of the incident.

Signature Theatre just released single tickets for all 33rd season productions, which highlights the organization’s long-time relationship with legendary composer Stephen Sondheim. Beginning with the musical adaptation of The Color Purple and irreverent No Place to Go, the season continues with three Sondheim musicals, the DC premieres of Off-Broadway hit Which Way to the Stage and Pulitzer Prize finalist Selling Kabul, the Tony Award®-winning rock musical Passing Strange, and return of Signature’s cabaret series honoring legendary artists.
