Crime Report: Woman Smashes Bottle on Man’s Face in Clarendon

Police car lightsA woman hit a 27-year-old man in the face with a bottle early Saturday morning, according to this week’s Arlington County crime report.

The incident happened on the 3100 block of Wilson Blvd, in Clarendon. The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries. The woman left the scene and remains at large.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 160130008, 3100 block of N. Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 1:30 a.m. on January 30, an unknown subject struck a 27 year-old male victim in the face with a glass bottle. The victim was transported to Virginia Hospital Center for non-life threatening injuries. The suspect is described as a female, no further suspect description.

ROBBERY BY FORCE, 160203001, 2300 block of S. 2nd Street. At approximately 12:12 a.m. on February 3, an unknown subject robbed a 7-11 of an undisclosed amount of money and assaulted an employee in the process. The suspect is described as a light skinned male, approximately 6’0″-6’2″ tall. He was wearing black pants with blue gym shorts underneath, black shoes, a black jacket, a dark colored hat, and a mask that covered his nose and mouth.

STRONGARM ROBBERY, 160129053, 1400 block of S. George Mason Drive. At approximately 7:38 p.m. on January 29, a female victim was struck in the face and robbed by an unknown male subject. The subject then fled the scene in a nearby vehicle. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’7″ tall and weighed 175 lbs. He was wearing a black jacket, beige knitted hat, and beige boots.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (series), 160127026, 600 block of Manchester Street. Between 9:15 a.m. and 6:35 p.m. on January 27, an unknown subject(s) entered at least six vehicles in a one block radius and stole numerous items. There is no suspect(s) description.

INDECENT EXPOSURE, 160129020, 4200 block of N. Fairfax Drive. At approximately 8:40 p.m. on January 29, an unknown male subject was seen urinating in public and then exposed his genitals to a female victim. The subject is described as a white male in his 50’s-60’s, with long white hair in a ponytail. He was wearing a Washington Redskins baseball cap, blue quilted vest, white undershirt, and blue jeans.

BURGLARY, 160201020, 100 block of N. Thomas Street. Between 5:00 p.m. on January 29 and 8:00 a.m. on February 2, an unknown subject(s) forced entry into a locked storage unit and stole toilet paper and a space heater. There is no suspect(s) description.

LATE MALICIOUS WOUNDNG, 160202029, 3100 block of N. Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 2:00 a.m. on January 30, a 33 year-old male victim was struck in the face and in the back of the head by an unknown subject. The victim sustained injuries to include a laceration to his face and a concussion. There is no suspect description.

LATE ASSAULT & BATTERY, 1601031018, 1200 block of N. Danville Street. At approximately 2:00 a.m. on January 30, a suspect entered a residence without permission and assaulted a known male victim. Steve Benedict Casper, 25, of Centerville VA, was arrested and charged with assault & battery and entering a dwelling at night with the intent to commit assault & battery.
