Marymount Marks Milestone — “Marymount University recently celebrated the debut of its Early Learning Academy, marking ‘a significant milestone for the institution as it unveiled a state-of-the-art facility designed to cater to the educational needs of young children,’ university officials said… Forty-seven students currently are enrolled in the academy’s inaugural class, and more students will join in April.” [Gazette Leader]

County Holds Pitch Event — “Arlington Economic Development’s BizLaunch division celebrates the success of local businesses with the announcement of winners from its recent Pitch event. Success for New Hockey Team — “First-year varsity high-school teams often don’t win much, but that wasn’t the case for the upstart Bishop O’Connell Knights girls varsity ice-hockey team during the fall season. The high-school squad of 21 players competed in two leagues and combined not only to finish with a 12-4 overall record, but became runner-up in each postseason tournament.” [Gazette Leader]
