Multiple Yorktown High athletes make their college commitments

A total of 32 student/athletes from Yorktown High School recently participated in a college commitment and signing ceremony to play their particular sports at the next level.

Members of the Class of 2025 made their choices known in 14 different sports. Additional Yorktown athletes will announce their choices in coming weeks.

The list of those 32 seniors, along with the sports they will play in college and where:

Baseball: Jack Rubin (Fordham University), Cameron Gonzalez (Fairmont State University) and Owen Woodward (Franklin & Marshall College).

Crew: Isabel Corbett (Rutgers University), Isabel Warga (University of Connecticut) and Abby Putnam (University of Washington).

Cross country/track & field: Reid Dalley (Emory University).

Football: Max Troiano (Elon University), Aidan Vroom (Duquesne University), Drew Morgan (Kenyon College) and Finn Luca (Dickinson College).

Field hockey: Laney Reiser (Georgetown University).

Golf: Maddie Cameron (Christopher Newport University).

Hockey: Ellie Prantner (St. John Fisher University).

Lacrosse: Delaney Sinton (Christopher Newport University), Coco Rigoli (University of Chicago), Victoria Carcillo (Temple University) and Helene Lydon (Old Dominion University).

Soccer: Olivia Stafford (Vanderbilt University), Quinn Belt (University of Massachusetts), Keira Hammer (Carleton College), Henry Topp, Binghamton University), Reese Montgomery (Davidson College), Ryaan Mohamed (Oberlin College) and Quincy Greene (Washington and Lee University).

Softball: Margaret Flannery-Goodman (Bowdoin College), Sophia Giambalvo (Muhlenberg College) and Maleva Cardinale (Emerson College).

Swimming: Alaina Desautels (Vassar College), Nora Sherman (Williams College) and Jay Young (Macalester College).

Wrestling: Charlotte Bowman (Ursinus College).
