Firefighters from Arlington and Alexandria battled a blaze in the Arlington Ridge neighborhood this morning.
The fire, in the attic area of at least two adjacent townhomes, was reported around 11 a.m. Friday on the 2300 block of S. Queen Street.
Firefighters used chainsaws and other equipment to cut holes in the roof of the affected homes. The fire was reported to be mostly out within about 15 minutes of the first dispatch.
No injuries were reported.
