Crash leaves SUV on its side in Clarendon

Today’s Sunday brunch in Clarendon was interrupted by crash involving an overturned vehicle.

The crash happened around 12:15 p.m. on the 1100 block of N. Highland Street, near Trader Joe’s and the new Mister Days.

A driver in a white Acura SUV with Pennsylvania tags was trapped inside after a crash that left the vehicle on its side. She was extricated by firefighters using heavy rescue equipment, after they stabilized the overturned vehicle.

No serious injuries were reported.

There’s no word yet on what caused the wreck nor whether any other vehicles were involved.
