Some kid-friendly festivities are coming to Arlington and Falls Church as Easter hops closer.
A free egg hunt and a visit from the Easter Bunny are taking place on Saturday, April 19 at Water Park in Crystal City (1601 Crystal Drive).
Other family-friendly events are happening in the days leading up to Easter at Potomac Overlook Regional Park, Long Bridge Aquatic Center and Cherry Hill Park in Falls Church.
The egg hunt is from 10:30-11 a.m.
- The eggs will be filled with candy and small prizes for the kids, while Water Bar will serve spring-themed cocktails and mimosas for adults.
- Celebrations kick off at 10 a.m. and will last until 1 p.m. Beyond the egg hunt, other activities include lawn games, face painting, balloon animals and a photo booth.

- For more egg hunt fun, Potomac Overlook Regional Park is hosting a daily spring egg hunt with prizes from April 12-20. Entry is $8 per kid.
- Long Bridge Aquatic Center is hosting an “Aqua Scavenger Hunt” with prizes for kids ages 5-12 this Sunday, April 13. Entry is $15 for county residents.
- Families can also visit Cherry Hill Park in Falls Church for a free egg hunt, magic show and Easter Bunny meet-and-greet next Saturday, April 19.
