Free treats and family-friendly activities are on hand in Pentagon City today (Friday) for Amazon’s Bring Your Kids to Work Day.
Nearly 2,000 kids are expected to join their parents and guardians at the HQ2 campus for technology demos, storytimes, outdoor activities and more.
Free or discounted treats are available until 5 p.m.
- Good Company Doughnuts plans to offer buy one, get one deals and kids’ donut decorating kits until 4 p.m. today.
- Kids can also get free alfajores from Peruvian Brothers and free sprinkles on Toby’s Ice Cream cones until 5 p.m.
Met Park activities are open to the public
- Games of mini golf, tic-tac-toe and giant Jenga are happening at Met Park until 3 p.m. as part of the festivities.
- The park is also hosting an Amazon Rivian delivery van for kids to explore and take pictures with.
- Other planned activities include bubbles and mural making with sidewalk chalk.
