A 25-year-old Arlington man and a teen boy are facing charges after a man was stabbed several times Friday night along S. Arlington Mill Drive.
A motive for the attack, which prompted a large police response, was not given. The victim was hospitalized “with injuries considered non-life-threatening.”

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 2025-09050214, 800 block of S. Arlington Mill Drive. At approximately 10:19 p.m. on September 5, police were dispatched to the report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, it was determined the male victim exited his parked vehicle when he was approached by three male suspects who allegedly physically assaulted him and struck him several times with a knife, causing lacerations. Responding officers located the victim and provided medical assistance before medics arrived and transported him to an area hospital with injuries considered non-life-threatening. During the course of the investigation, officers located an adult male suspect and a male suspect in his teens running in the area and took them into custody. Jacobo Orellana Turcios, 25, of Arlington, Va. was arrested and charged with Malicious Wounding and Obstruction of Justice. Petitions for the juvenile male suspect were obtained for Malicious Wounding and Obstruction of Justice.
Also detailed in the crime report were a pair of violent incidents on the same block of Washington Blvd in Virginia Square, one day apart.
One of the incidents involved a woman who suffered “multiple lacerations” after a glass bottle was thrown at her.

ASSAULT BY MOB, 2025-09060135, 3400 block of Washington Boulevard. At approximately 6:33 p.m. on September 6, police were dispatched to the report of an assault. Upon arrival, it was determined that following an earlier dispute, the involved parties reengaged during which the two juvenile male suspects assaulted the three male victims. The three victims self-reported to an area hospital, with two juvenile males in their teens suffering from minor injuries and an adult male suffering from serious, non-life threatening injuries. The suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival. The investigation into the circumstances of the incident is ongoing.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 2025-09070138, 3400 block of Washington Boulevard. At approximately 7:54 p.m. on September 7, police were dispatched to the report of an assault with a weapon. Upon arrival, it was determined the female victim was outside when the female suspect began yelling at her. The suspect then threw a glass bottle at the victim, causing it to break, resulting in multiple lacerations. The victim then called police during which the suspect fled the scene on foot. Medics responded and treated … the victim on scene for minor injuries. Responding officers canvassed the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a Black female, approximately 60 years old, 5’2”, with short hair wearing a white shirt, dark pants and a black backpack. The investigation is ongoing.
