New highlights for federal workers
- Nue Elegantly Vietnamese: Happy hour, with $5 off cocktails, $3 off glasses of wine and $2 off beers, is extended until the shutdown ends. Mention the restaurant’s social media post to receive the deal. (944 W. Broad Street)
- Paisano’s Pizza: Federal workers can receive 30% off pizzas throughout the shutdown with promo code “TOGETHER” (2201 N. Pershing Drive and 3650 S. Glebe Road)
- Palette 22: Federal workers can receive 50% off food and non-alcoholic beverages with a valid government ID if they dine in. (4053 Campbell Avenue)
- Stellina Pizzeria: The pizzeria is offering all-day happy hour deals and half-off drinks to federal workers until the shutdown ends. (2800 S. Randolph Street and 1700 N. Moore Street)
- The Toy Nest: The Falls Church toy library is welcoming federal workers to bring their kids for a free, weekly hour of playtime before 3 p.m. (125 N Washington Street)
- NiHao: Federal workers can order buy one, get one free dishes during happy hour from 4-6 p.m., Monday through Friday. (1550 Crystal Drive)

- Arlington Restaurant Week: The promotion with specials, discounts and prix fixe menus at restaurants across the county lasts until Monday, Oct. 20.
- Fall Book Sale at Arlington Public Library: Check out bargains on books, games and puzzles from Oct. 23-26. (1015 N. Quincy Street)
- The Golden Fox Boutique: The store is celebrating its two-year anniversary with up to 60% off select items and a $50 gift card raffle from Oct. 18-19. (2700 Clarendon Blvd)

- William Jeffrey’s Tavern: Order half-priced crispy chicken wings and/or grilled wings from 5-10 p.m. every Wednesday night. (2301 Columbia Pike)
