A follow‑up letter to Arlington: one month in, and grateful

Hi Arlington — Drew here again.

About a month ago, ARLnow gave me the chance to share a letter with this community about why I decided to start All Team Exteriors, and what I hoped we could build if things went right. I wasn’t sure how it would land. Writing something personal in public always feels a little risky.

What happened next honestly surprised me.

I heard from neighbors I’ve never met. Friends sent screenshots saying “Hey, I just read about you.” A few homeowners reached out just to say good luck. And some trusted us with something important — their homes.

That support didn’t go unnoticed. It meant more than I can put into words.

A quick recap: why we’re here

For anyone who missed the first letter, the short version is this:

All Team Exteriors was built to be a small, local roofing and exterior company that does things the right way. Clear communication. Photo‑documented inspections. Fast follow‑through. No disappearing acts. No pressure tactics.

We’re not trying to be the biggest. We’re trying to be the most reliable neighbor you’ll ever hire.

What’s happened since

In the weeks since that article ran, our team has been busy — and grateful for every opportunity.

We’ve completed roofing and exterior projects across Arlington and nearby neighborhoods. Each one taught us something. Each one reinforced why this work matters. There’s nothing abstract about standing in front of a family’s home and knowing they trusted you to protect it.

Below are a few photos from recent jobs and a couple of homeowner reviews we’re proud of. Not because they’re flashy — but because they reflect exactly what we’re aiming for: clean work, honest communication, and showing up when we say we will.

We’re still learning — and still listening

Starting something new forces you to stay humble. There’s always room to improve.

We ask homeowners what went well and what didn’t. We adjust our processes. We double‑check our work. The goal isn’t perfection — it’s progress, accountability, and trust.

And that’s where this community continues to shape us.

Come follow along with us

We don’t believe businesses should be faceless, so we try to share real updates — projects, lessons learned, and the occasional behind‑the‑scenes look at a growing local company.

If you want to keep an eye on what we’re up to, you can find us here:

We keep it pretty simple — no gimmicks — just real work in real neighborhoods.

A small ask, moving forward

I said this before, and it still feels true: starting from scratch is equal parts exhilarating and humbling.

If you or someone you know has questions about a roof, siding, gutters, or storm damage — even if it’s just for a second opinion — we’d love the chance to help. No pressure, no obligation.

To say thank you, we’re also offering a community promo for Arlington neighbors this spring:

  • 25% off roof replacements and free architectural shingle upgrades
  • Always free, no-pressure inspections
  • $500 for referrals that result in a replacement job
  • Priority scheduling while we’re still small

More than anything, we’re just asking for a fair shot and the chance to earn trust the old‑fashioned way — by doing good work and standing behind it.

Thanks again for reading, for rooting for us, and for proving that Arlington really does show up for its neighbors.
