A new coffee shop, roastery and wine bar is preparing to open in Shirlington by the end of the year.
Signage for The Roasted Vine is up at 4150 Campbell Avenue, next to Bearded Goat Barber in the Village at Shirlington. It advertises a planned opening in late 2026.
The cafe’s website doesn’t contain any additional information yet, but a Google description written by the business promises “a community-focused coffee roastery, café, and wine bar where exceptional coffee, curated wines, and genuine hospitality come together.”
“We roast our coffee in-house, serving fresh espresso drinks, specialty coffees, and seasonal favorites throughout the day,” the description says. “As the day winds down, guests can enjoy thoughtfully selected wines, wine-based cocktails, local craft beverages, and shareable small plates in a warm, inviting atmosphere.”
The description indicates plans for a “dog-friendly patio” and “community events.”
The Roasted Vine replaces Massage Forever, a massage parlor that opened in the retail bay back in 2017.
The business’s concept is similar to that of another cafe and wine bar coming to 3800 Langston Blvd in Cherrydale. Good Trouble Roasters, which is targeting an August opening date, also plans to roast its beans in-house and provide a neighborhood spot for coffee and drinks.
