Moudkaii Cagee El (Age 64)
Moudkaii Cagee El, age 64, passed away June 14, 2026 in residence amongst family and friends at Berkeley County in Charleston, South Carolina.
He was born on January 2, 1962, in Winston Salem, North Carolina, a son of the late Fousel Cagee and Daisy Mae El. In addition to his parents, Moudkaii was preceded in death by his brothers Ronald Waddell and Zedia Khan El.
Moudkaii found pleasure in solving puzzles, playing hand to hand and digital chess, watching movies and collecting rare coins. He loved expensive things in life. As a skilled woodworker, Moudkaii designed a masterpiece of cedar chest in high school.
Moudkaii is survived by his son, Darion Borjas El of Washington DC; his daughter, Sierra Alexis El of Winston Salem, North Carolina. He is also survived by three brothers, two sisters, a sister-in-law, and a brother-in-law: Fousel Cagee El III of Winston Salem, North Carolina; Muhammad Ali El and Jacqueline Booker El of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; Saladine Omaur EL of Salisbury, North Carolina; Khadija Bey El of Winston Salem, North Carolina; and Fatima (El) Watlington and Curtis Watlington of Ladson , South Carolina. Lastly, Moudkaii is survived by eleven nieces and nephews: Angie Waddell, Deborah Waddell, Brittney (El) Peoples, Malaka El, Brandon El, Wynton El, Brianna El, Bryan El, Marion El, Aaron Watlington, and Camille Watlington.
His Celebration of Life is on June 27th.
