Longtime O’Connell Principal Dies — Richard “Dick” Martin, 85, of Falls Church died Aug. 17. He spent nearly five decades at Bishop O’Connell High School as an English teacher, wrestling coach, assistant principal and eventually principal. Screen Time Pushback — “Former educators and parents say Virginia leaders must implement guidelines to regulate the digital tools students use in schools, arguing that technology is obscuring the essential learning methods they need most.” Sen.
