Crime Report: Man Wearing Capri Pants Exposes Himself

A man wearing capri pants exposed more than just his ankles in Arlington’s Nauck neighborhood Sunday, according to this week’s Arlington County Police crime report.

The incident happened just before noon on May 28, on the 2400 block of S. Glebe Road. Police say the man exposed his genitals to a woman, then left the scene.

INDECENT EXPOSURE(Late), 2017-05280093, 2400 block of S. Glebe Road. At approximately 1:20 p.m. on May 28, officers responded to the report of a late indecent exposure. Upon arrival, it was determined between 11:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on May 28, an unknown male subject exposed himself to a female victim. The subject is described as a white male, approximately 5’8″-6’0″ tall and weighed 170-190 lbs. He was wearing brown capris pants, an unknown color t-shirt, and black sunglasses. The investigation is ongoing.

INDECENT EXPOSURE(Late), 2017-05250176, 1400 block of N. Courthouse Road. At approximately 3:55 p.m. on May 25, officers responded to the report of a late indecent exposure. Upon arrival, it was determined a known male subject exposed his genitals to a known female victim. Warrants have been obtained for indecent exposure for Gregory Scheifele, 44, of Arlington VA.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2017-05270035, 3000 block of N. Toronto Street. At approximately 2:21 a.m. on May 27, officers responded to the report of an unlawful entry that had just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined a male victim awoke to an unknown male subject in his residence. The subject fled the scene when confronted by the victim. The subject is described as a black male in his twenties and was wearing a white shirt, dark pants, and dark shoes. The investigation is ongoing.

BREAKING & ENTERING, 2017-05270326, 1500 block of Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 11:51 p.m. on May 27, officers responded to the report of a breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined an unknown subject(s) forced entry into a building. No items appeared to be missing. There is no subject(s) description. The investigation is ongoing.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (Series), 2017-05270086, 400 block of S. Fillmore Street. Between 9:30 p.m. on May 26 and 6:00 a.m. on May 27, an unknown subject(s) entered at least 20 mostly unlocked vehicles and stole items of value. There is no subject(s) description. The investigation is ongoing.

ENTICEMENT(Late), 2017-05250276, 3000 block of N. Harrison Street. At approximately 9:15 p.m. on May 25, police were dispatched to the report of an enticement. The investigation revealed that at approximately 8:00 a.m. on May 25, a juvenile male was walking in the area when an adult male subject in a silver four-door sedan pulled alongside him. The subject asked the juvenile where he was going and if he wanted a ride. When the juvenile responded no, the subject drove off in an unknown direction. The subject is described as a white male between 40-60 years old with gray hair. The investigation is ongoing.

BREAKING & ENTERING(Late), 2017-05250267, 5800 block of N. 9th Road. At approximately 9:55 p.m. on May 25, officers responded to the report of a late breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined between 9:00 p.m. on May 24 and 8:30 p.m. on May 25, an unknown subject(s) attempted to force entry into a residence but was unsuccessful. There is no subject(s) description. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY, 2017-05240039, 900 block of S. Walter Reed Drive. At approximately 7:40 a.m. on May 24, officers responded to the report of burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined an unknown suspect(s) forced entry into a business and stole items of value. There is no suspect(s) description.
