As election results roll in tonight, ARLnow will be tracking the outcome of races in Arlington, Northern Virginia and across the Commonwealth.
Voters are casting ballots in all 11 of Virginia’s congressional districts this year, with majority control of both chambers of Congress hanging in the balance.
Here in Northern Virginia, U.S. Rep. Don Beyer (D) is facing off against Jerry Torres (R) — and independent candidates David Kennedy and Bentley Hensel — while U.S. Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va) is facing challenger Hung Cao (R).
This is in addition to the Commonwealth’s 13 electoral votes currently up for grabs in the historic presidential election.
