Snow brings dozens of business closures in Arlington and Falls Church, as well as specials

It’s a snow day for dozens of local businesses and services around Arlington and Falls Church.

Some grocers, department stores and shopping centers remain open for urgent purchases, in addition to a handful of local restaurants, which have advertised some snowed-in specials and entertainment. These include:

  • Board Room Game Bar & Brewery at 925 N. Garfield Street opens at 1 p.m., offering board games and drinks for a fun day inside
  • Northside Social at 3211 Wilson Blvd opened at 11 a.m., serving $5 mimosas, coffee, tea and a selection of pastries
  • Ragtime at 1345 N. Courthouse Road is enjoying the weather with an all-day happy hour
  • Texas Jack’s Barbecue at 2761 Washington Blvd is open and serving a cozy special, brisket chili, for the snow day

As authorities have advised D.C.-area residents to remain off the roads unless absolutely necessary, due to the snowy weather and treacherous conditions, the following locations have confirmed closures today (Monday).
