Arlington high school sports schedule for Feb. 21-27

This week’s high-school sports schedule is all about the winter playoffs remaining for some teams in Arlington.

Some gymnasts, wrestlers and swimmers/divers will be competing in Virginia High School League Class 6 state championship meets the next few  days. The state track-and-field meet also is upcoming.

In basketball, various playoff tournaments are ongoing and will continue.

FRIDAY, FEB. 21

Girls Basketball

• Washington-Liberty at Langley, 7 p.m. in Liberty District tournament final

Wrestling

• Bishop O’Connell at state tournament, 3 p.m. at Potomac School

Boys Ice Hockey Playoffs

• Washington-Liberty vs. West Springfield, 9:10 p.m. at Prince William Ice Center
