A vehicle overturned on a residential street between Route 50 and Columbia Pike this morning.
It happened around 8:15 a.m. on the 300 block of S. Highland Street, a couple of blocks from Thomas Jefferson Middle School, in the Arlington Heights neighborhood.
It’s unclear exactly how the crash happened but initial reports suggest that the driver was not seriously injured and was able to get out of the vehicle — which came to rest on its side — prior to first responders arriving on scene.
The road was closed while crews worked to clean up the roadway and tow the vehicle.
