In response to numerous requests, our local women’s therapy practice is offering “Parent Loss in Young Adulthood” again in early 2025.

Designed by Jane Lowery, M.A., Resident in Counseling, our group helps adults in their 20’s and 30’s who have lost a parent 1) understand the grief process, 2) reduce guilt & anxiety, 3) develop their grief community and 4) find more grief resources. Registration is now open for Children’s Weekday Program’s 2025-2026 school year! CWP is a non-profit preschool for children 16 months and older. Rooted in a play-based philosophy, we focus on developing a love of learning and exploration, cooperation, empathy, and independence.

Join Art House 7 for its First Friday of 2025 on Feb. 7, 6:30-8:30pm. At this free, kid-friendly party, we’ll view the Oil Paintings, Drawings, and Ceramics of Art House 7 instructors Anne Arnett, Samantha Van Heest, and Amy West. Enjoy wine, cheese, non-alcoholic beverages, and of course the art!

It’s a great time too to remember that summer may seem far away but our camp signups are here and ready to go. We offer terrific morning and afternoon weekly camps for ages 5-13 from June 23 – Aug. 15. We have fun, imaginative themes, including Beach and Surf Jewelry, Japanese Arts and Crafts, the Magical Worlds of Dorothy and Alice, Under the Sea, and “Green” Art.


Wintertime is the perfect time to pick up a brush, pencil, clay, or cloth and create! Art House 7 has a lineup of classes you’ll love—ceramics, painting, sculpture, drawing, embroidery, crochet, knitting, sewing. And check out our fabulous new clay studio. Classes are typically 6 weeks but 3-week classes are available. Ages kindergarten to adult. This session begins Jan. 9 but some classes start later or are available on a drop-in basis. We also offer workshops, Art Nights, and Open Studios.
