Virginia Hurricanes Basketball is offering a Friday night youth basketball training program in October-December 2024 for girls and boys in grades K through 5.

AGENDA: Players will have a fun-filled experience working on individual basketball skills and learning the rules and concepts of the game. Sessions will consist of a 30 minutes skills session followed by 30 minutes of controlled game play.

If you’re into ceramics, we have everything from the wheel (starting at 5th grade) to clay sculpture and hand-building plates, mugs and more, in a new expanded studio. If you’ve never tried printmaking, check out our intro to block printing classes, for 5th grade to adult. Of course, painting is one of our mainstays, and we have plenty: watercolor, oil, and specialized classes such as “Essentials in Realism: Still Life” and “Art for Wellness for 55+ Years.” We offer sewing and knitting classes, too, from kindergarten to adult.

Art House 7 offers classes and workshops throughout the year, taught by a range of fantastic teachers. We have free events as well, including our First Friday . You can buy art supplies next door. We’re near the Lee Harrison Shopping Center in Arlington, and free parking is outside our door.
