It’s fun to make New Year’s resolutions. It’s not as fun, however, to keep New Year’s resolutions.

If you’ve made a resolution, what are the chances that you’ll keep it? Approximately 360 days from now, we’ll check back and compare our personal predictions with the actual resolution success rate.

I didn’t make any so pretty good! It was funny though, since I am moving out of the area soon I canceled my membership to Gold’s gym last week. When they asked the reason why I was canceling I said I had made a resolution to be less fit this year.

      Nice!

Quit Golds anyway. Fitness First is equal as a gym, with much friendlier customer service and front desk people…and less than 1/2 the price.

I resolve to stop posting comments on ArlNow.com so I have more time to…

    oh, wait, noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

ArlNow, I just can’t quit you.
    Resolution over.

I know every year I feel like saying “Save the noble attempt here fatty, you’re going to quit in 3 weeks anyway so why don’t you save yourself the pain and me having to wait for the machine you’re on!”

Every year when the New Year’s rush occurs at the gym, I try to be pleasant charitable and think “well, at least they’re in here trying”, but it is hard to be charitable when come May, not one of the new people that I note will still be coming and in the meantime, I’ve just had to put up with their 30-day attempt once again.
