Vehicle Crashes into Columbia Pike CVS

A car crashed into the front of the CVS Pharmacy at 5017 Columbia Pike just after 5:00 p.m. today, injuring two people.

The car hopped the curb, smashed a low stone wall and broke several large windows. Only part of the front of the car actually entered the store.

Two people inside the CVS were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the car was not hurt. The store is still open for business.

    Of course once the car was in the CVS, it had to wait on line for 20 minutes and then the cashier wasn’t sure how to ring up the purchase forcing a wait for the manager who was confused by the two-for-one offer. The car will never crash into a CVS again.

    What is it with people crashing into buildings here in Arlington? The 7-11, a liquor store on lee Highway about 2 years ago. Oh you guys never did an update on the gas station at Washington Blvd and 10th Street. It has reopened.

    Another thing, but has anyone noticed that the church gas station in Rossyln is a Sunoco now? I thought it was a Chevron. I guess it changed.
