by ARLnow.com July 11, 2011 at 12:01 pm 2,790 16 Comments

Think you know everything there is about Arlington? Prove it by competing in an Arlington Scavenger Hunt along the Orange Line.

Our partners at WTD are now offering discounted registration for a team of two. Instead of paying $20, WTD is offering a limited supply of team registrations for $10.

The hunt will take place between noon and 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, rain or shine. Participants will solve clues, perform challenges and otherwise have fun while exploring the nooks and crannies of the Rosslyn-Ballston corridor.

All registrants must be 21 or over. The grand prize is airfare to Miami and four-day vacation for two on the Bud Light Port Paradise Cruise Ship.

Does the team with the women in bikins have open slots. FREDTERP

    • Joe Hoya

Oh, they have open slots all right.

      • KalashniKEV

That one was tee-ed right up…

        • samsonite

Beautiful shot too, right up the fairway about 300 yards.

  • CEW

I was interested until I became aware of the prize…no thanks.

There’s more to Arlington than just the Orange Line.

      +1 trillion

  • Dbag

Brown flip flops, popped collars, douche bags, pizza, cupcake and burger joints.
    Do I win?

    • BallstonNOTBoston

      Tell’em why you mad son!

    • Mr. Brown

You could have just said “White People.”

    • samsonite

Nope, you forgot porkpie hats and frozen yogurt. And the Clarendouchebagettes with oversized white-frame sunglasses.

      • Rebecca

        Haters.

      • KalashniKEV

I’m just not seeing many of these porkpie hats you’re always ranting about… maybe just a few…

  • arlingtonian_guru

People….show some love to the one place that loves to ticket you and make money!

  • Southeast Ben

You forgot street signs, artisphere, planterarium, parking meters, zoned parking. It’s just not brown flip flops and collared shirts. I will say this about the brown flip-flops…they do more for the arlington businesses than some others (granted…that usually consists of dinners, binge drinking, and shopping at retail stores).
