Anyone else find a lot of the houses in the $1million+ range to be some of the ugliest in Arlington?

    • J

      Yes.

    • WhoCares

They don’t build pretty homes in Arlington, just pretty expensive ones.

  • CW

That 1802 21st is an interesting little unit. Everything about it is weird – looking at the streetview I can’t quite place it. 1800 sf and only 2BR, wow. Can’t really figure out from the pics where all that space went! And 4 bathrooms?

Low price for the finishes and location, probably due to the weirdness, 2BR, and lack of covered parking. But it’s going to be a relative steal for someone.

    • UA

Seriously??? $665,000 with 6k in taxes and a monthly HOA of $400 a steal for a 2 br that will constantly hear 66. I have some magic rocks to sell you.

      • Ralph

        Especially when 66 becomes 3 lanes…

      • CW

The HOA is high for sure, but tell me where else you can get 1800 sqft walking distance to Rosslyn for less?

I pointed out its strange features, said “for someone”, and also said “relative”. But yes, getting your own home in that location for that price is low. All the other THs in that neighborhood are at $1M+.

      • JohnB2

$400 HOA for a 2 BR isn’t bad for the O-line corridor. Some are ~$600. Depends on what you get for it of course…

        • Greg

But this is a townhouse. What are you getting for 400? I would guess very little. The location isn’t great, either, but it’s not a terrible price.

        • dirty biker

When I hear “o-line” I think of the Orangutan trail at the zoo… oh wait, they DO have a lot in common! Just add some brown flip-flops…

      • How Much For The Rocks

They really are magic aren’t they ??

    • outoftowner

This unit has been for sale for months. I would hardly call it ‘a steal’ (or even a relative one) but you may be able to lowball an offer depending on how motivated the sellers are

    • sunflower

      three levels…..
