The stage on Clarendon over by Circa reminded me of old Clarendon Day with young, less professional musicians playing – it was a lot of fun watching. Could of done with less medical and politics but I guess it is that season. The girl singing the vote song at the metro was cute though.

I should add that the bands at the IOTA stage were terrific as well – and it was right by the beer which had a much better selection than last year.

I thought Clarendon Day was absolutely terrible. Maybe it was just too early, but even had there been bands playing, I don’t know that there was any other reason for me to stay than the 10 minutes it took to walk to one end, and then back around to the other.

Though, I did get a free stick on mustache. But other than that, there wasn’t a whole lot going on.

Think it should be more like Crafty Bastards that the City Paper hosts. . . but then they’re going to try charging for it this year, and moved it somewhere new. . . so it’s now not worth going to.

I go mainly for the beer and bands outside and there was enough of that for me. If no bands were playing when you were there you must have been there before noon because otherwise it seemed constant on the two stages.

Having said that, it did seem like there was less restaurants and less other good/weird stuff, although the kids section seemed pretty extensive (don’t have kids myself though). I wish Nam Viet would represent and grill up some lemongrass chicken or beef and some garden rolls. Still, the food that was there was a great value, I thought. Delhi Club, for example!
