Man that house on 25th street is tacky! You would think for 1.3 million you would get something a little better looking.

    • Buckingham Bandit

Be realistic…you’re buying the neighborhood as much as the house at that point.

    • Buckingham Bandit

Now, #3 seems like something of a steal, at least compared to the others listed.

      • CW

The left garage door looks like it is going to be unsuspectingly stabbed from above.

Belvedere condos are rock solid. No flashy granite this or stainless that, but sqft is sqft, and they dont build em like that anymore.

    • NARL

It’s a nice garage with a small house attached.

    • bill

Actually very nice.Deep lot, screen porch in rear, good finishes on street with Missionhirst Catholic Order Hdq’s, which is like a 10 acre park.

    • I dunno

Looking at the rest of the pictures, it’s a pretty nice house overall. But that facade is a trainwreck. It’s the house equivalent of a “butter face.”

Can it fetch $1.3 that far from the corridor? Maybe. It feels high, but we’ll see. Prices are headed up again.

But it IS right next to Donaldson Run, so you’ve also got to factor in the flood risk.

“house equivalent of a “butter face.” ”

  • Dummy

    I have a dream–kitchen!

  • marie antoinette

$1.3M for 22207? Gak. And it’s not even Lyon Village.

    • drax

      It’s a house, not a ZIP code.

      • ACDC Hack

From the County’s perspective, it is a piggy bank that they can withdraw from…..you of all people should know this !!

        • drax

          Non sequitor.

          • GP

            (It’s non-sequitur.)

          • drax

I noticed a split second after hitting “enter” of course.

    • Sam

You do realize that 2207 is the most expensive zip to buy a house in Arlington County? I’m not sure what your point is on this comment.

      • Tabs

“Marie” must assume that 22207 is south. It’s not, Marie, it’s Yorktown/Cherrydale/the area bordering the Potomac.

  • marie antoinette

Not sure what 2207 means, Sam, so I can’t respond. Begone!

    • Yorktown

If you have to ask, you can’t afford it.

How about some thing your average reader could afford?

Anyone in the 500k+ range on this site isn’t in the market, or doesn’t look here first. Seriously. GET REAL.
