Re: Burglary at 1200 block of S. Courthouse: How do you not notice your wallet missing for 2-3 days??

    • MC 703

Ummmmm the victim was out of town during that window of time?

      • HoosNArlington

Out of town without their wallet? Hey, I’m going on vacation, but am leaving my money, wallet, and keys at home. I’m walking….??

        • drax

He was passed out on a couch in a condo building lobby wearing a Tech shirt.

        • MC 703

Could’ve been a female wallet. Those things aren’t cheap and most women own more than one, and do not – repeat – do not take all of them with them every time they leave the house.

          • HoosNArlington

            Weak. You’re trying too hard…

  • dr seuss

    But what was he wearing!?

    • Cletus Van Damme

“Va Tech Fan Punches Cab Driver”?

  • MC 703

I wonder if Kyle was trying to steal his own car after not being able to pay for repairs. Looks like he’s graduating RU in 16 months.

    • Tim

It wouldn’t be larceny of an auto if he owned it. It would just be breaking and entering.

      • What about…

If the shop was asserting a mechanic’s lien, I think it could be larceny.

        • Tim

Yes, but not grand larceny of an auto, as described. Theft of services, certainly. Mechanic’s lien does not convey ownership; it’s just a security interest with priority over other creditors and purchasers

        And defrauding an inn keeper.

    • Mary-Austin

He looks like he might have been heading to the Days Inn or the McDonald’s parking lot after not faring very well at Spider Kelly’s.

      • Deadite

Nah, this bro was at Mad Rose Tavern getting his swag on. YOLO!

        • Mary-Austin

Good point. Almost overlooked Age: 31

  • Keith

I used to love to jump from cabs in Arlington after a long drive from DC when I was young and drunk. Some chased you, most didn’t, it was always good for a laugh as my buddies and I ran, laughing, while some immigrant yelled “you motherf–kers” in some foreign accent.

    • dr seuss

You were SO the man back then.

    • QTR

      Great story! Crime is funny!

    • drax

And you were a motherf–ker, Keith.

      • Mary-Austin

haha still is apparently. probably just too out of shape to run now.

    • Peter

Most unattractive male name in the English language.

  • m

Could Christopher perhaps be the new Trevor?

    • yes

or Trevor’s new friend, as they are likely both in ArlCo jail right now together.

      • John Fontain

Is Trev in jail right now?

  • Greg

LOL at an Arlington cab driver demanding a specific address. They don’t even know where Spider Kelly’s or IHOP is. The last thing they’re going to know is where 323 Greenbriar Street is.
