Arlington Pet of the Week: Rex

Becky's Pet Care

This week’s pet of the week is Rex, a rescue puppy who’s “always game” for a nap.

Here’s what owner Jen had to say about her new companion:

Meet Rex! He is a 5-month-old Boston Terrier and Corgi mix that was adopted from Day Before the Rainbow Rescue in South Carolina. Most people that meet him think that he is the sweetest pup around — always greeting everyone with a tail wag that shakes his entire body!

He absolutely loves going outside and will sometimes refuse to come back inside when his walks are finished. Instead, he likes to roll around in the grass in front of my apartment or pick up a stick and walk around with it until I let him take it inside with him. He also loves the car and always wants to go for a ride!

Rex is also a great sleeper and cuddler because he fits right under my arm and is happy to stay there all night. He’s always game for mid-day naps as well. From the day that I got him at 3 months old, he has always slept through the night without problems. This is every puppy owner’s dream!
