Some 75 new listings hit the market this week in all price ranges from $165,000 to $3 million, and all types of homes and all locations. The average list price jumped to $752,000.
The buyers have responded with this uptick in choices by ratifying 55 contracts this week with an average list price of $707,000 and 60 days on the market. Many of the sold homes this week were on the market for only a few days. Mortgage interest rates are cooperating, with the average 30-year fixed rate dropping this week to 3.6 percent. It’s a great time to buy!
