Arlington Pets of the Week: Ava and Max

Becky's Pet Care

This week’s Arlington Pets of the Week are Ava and Max. They have two different personalities but both love to cuddle and give hugs.

Here’s what Ava and Max’s owner, Penny, had to say about them:

Ava is an almost 2-year-old Siamese mix and Max is a 1-year-old domestic tabby. Both Ava and Max love to give cuddles, wrapping their arms around our necks and snuggling their faces in. They always follow their parents around the apartment and take every chance they get to cuddle up on mum or dad’s lap, or on the bed with them.

Ava has become a very laid-back cat who enjoys basking in the sun that shines through the windows. She loves curling up and hiding away in her cave-like cat bed that her mum made for her and saves her bursts of energy for the evening. Ava’s favourite toy is her squeaky mouse attached to a wand — she chases it around and loves playing fetch with it.

Max is an extremely friendly and loving cat, with a huge personality. He loves jumping up and knocking all of his parents belongings off of shelves and sides! He has recently taken to jumping up and switching off the bathroom light too! Max loves to sit on the side of the bath when his mum is relaxing, joined by big sister Ava who keeps a safe distance from the water, curling up on the bath mat.

It took Ava a couple of days to get used to her new kitten brother, but once they bonded they have been inseparable ever since!
