Arlington Pet of the Week: Weasley

This week’s Arlington Pet of the Week is Weasley, a 6-year-old rescue who loves to accompany his owner on road trips.

Here’s what Weasley’s owner, Kristin, had to say about him:

This is Weasley, a 6-year old rescue who we believe is Maine Coon and Turkish Angora. He has all of the good qualities of a cat, combined with the good qualities of a dog. He is super affectionate, but also very smart; he knows commands, greets you at the door, and plays fetch (if he is in the mood). He loves his toy bear, belly and cheek rubs, naps, and treats. Weas loves to pounce on his toys, especially ribbons or catnip toys. That’s why we call him a little lion cub (plus he has an amazing mane).

He has traveled with his mom to multiple destinations and is the best road-trip companion. He just sits in his seat and looks out the window. It’s always funny to see people double take when they realize he is a cat. He really thinks he is a human. Anyone who thinks they don’t like cats will change their mind if they meet this fluffer!
