Arlington Pet of the Week: Vida

This week’s Arlington Pet of the Week is Vida, an adopted cat who comes to Courthouse from Pennsylvania.

Here’s what her owner, Samantha, had to say on her behalf:

Hi there, my name is Vida and I am 5 ½ years old.  I’m originally from Pennsylvania and was taken in as a stray by my mom when I was about 2 months old.  We made the journey to Arlington 4 years ago and have loved living in the Courthouse area in Arlington.

I love talking to my parents, especially to let them know when to feed me or when I want some attention.  My favorite toys are my stuffed “buddies”- in particular, I have a dog that I’ve had since I was a kitten and have pulled almost all the stuffing out of him.  When my mom’s boyfriend moved in with us last year, he bought me Yoda and Chewbacca mouse toys since he’s a Star Wars fan, which quickly won me over.  The best spots to sit around our apartment are on my humans’ laps or my blanket (stolen from my new dad) on top of the couch.

And like every typical cat, I love when there are spare boxes around for me to sit in.
