The second installment of Arlington’s only electronic music street festival will be held next month.

Ballroom on the Block, hosted by the Clarendon Ballroom, will bring local electronic DJs, food vendors and more to Clarendon on Saturday, July 27.

Starting at 2 p.m., the outdoor festivities will be held on N. Irving Street between Wilson Blvd and 12th Street N. A beer garden and multiple bars will be open for attendees, while a variety of local food vendors — including those offering traditional carnival treats — will be available, according to the event page.

Additionally, an after-party at the Clarendon Ballroom will run from 10 p.m.-2 a.m.

General admission tickets, which allow attendance at both the festival and the afterparty, cost $20 through the end of June. Tickets will ultimately increase to $50 each by July 15.

Attendees may also purchase a VIP fastpass, allowing them to skip certain lines and have in-and-out privileges, for an additional fee. Tickets can be purchased online via Eventbrite.

An artist lineup for the event was not publicly available at publication time. Drivers should expect N. Irving Street to be closed to traffic on the day of the event.

The first Ballroom on the Block event was held last fall, after originally being scheduled to take place on what turned out to be a very rainy weekend.
