The McDonald’s at 3013 Columbia Pike is back in business after some renovations.
The location was bustling with dozens of customers this morning (Monday) after closing for at least a month. The fast food restaurant remodeled its kitchen to improve efficiency and installed a new service counter, a representative told ARLnow.
The building’s exterior remains unchanged.
A tipster told ARLnow that the location opened Oct. 13 with the parking lot “full of hungry customers,” seemingly a soft opening. It did not officially open for business until Friday, however
The restaurant was last renovated in 2021, when its ditched the chain’s old-school, red-and-white motif in favor of a more modern gray-and-tan exterior with touchscreen ordering kiosks in the lobby.
This location is less than two miles from a McDonald’s at 5005 Columbia Pike and another at 40 N. Glebe Road.
