Adoptable Pet of the Week: Bluey

The newest Adoptable Pet of the Week is Bluey!

This adorable kitten is currently in foster through the Animal Welfare League of Arlington.

His friends at the AWLA had this to say:

Bluey is a 5 month old kitten from North Carolina. He has been with foster sister Ivy since they evacuated their home shelter during Hurricane Helene.

This greybie cutie is gaining confidence with each passing day in his foster home, but is still very shy. He may hiss a bit at first, but has never pawed or bitten his foster mom — he’s just a scared sweetheart who purrs up a storm after only a few pets.

Bluey needs an adopter who is patient and willing to take things slow. He thrives when his foster sister Ivy is around as he tries his best to match her bravery and curiosity.

His current obsessions — the Cat Dancer cat toy, snuggling with Ivy for an afternoon nap and trying to get the resident cats’ attention. Bluey loves climbing cat trees and sleeping in enclosed beds, the cozier the better. Bluey and Ivy make a fantastic pair — please consider adopting them together.
