Still making plans to ring in the New Year?
Numerous restaurants, bars and venues across Arlington have planned festivities with champagne and live entertainment leading up to midnight on New Year’s Eve. From the Clarendon Ballroom to the Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel, here are just a few of many options to kick off 2025 in Arlington.
Ballston
- Punch Bowl Social: A night of “pour decisions” featuring Jello shots, party favors, live DJs and a New Year’s toast starts at 9 p.m. Early bird tickets start at $40 and day-of admission is $60. 4238 Wilson Blvd.
- Whino: The venue will host DJ Vektor and a midnight champagne toast. Doors open at 8 p.m. Admission is $25. 4238 Wilson Blvd.
Clarendon
- Bar Bao: Dining, party favors and music begin at 10 p.m. Table reservations come with a bottle of champagne. Early bird admission is $25. 3100 Clarendon Blvd.
- Clarendon Ballroom: A Studio 54-inspired bash with live entertainment kicks off at 8 p.m. General admission starts at $35 and VIP access with buffet dining starts at $55. 3185 Wilson Blvd.
- Don Tito: The party with a DJ and cash bar starts at 8 p.m. General admission is $30, but groups of four or more people receive a discount. 3165 Wilson Blvd.
- Smokecraft Modern Barbecue: This “Fire & Ice”-themed get-together is Smokecraft’s biggest party of the year, featuring DJ As-One, an open bar, barbecue buffet and $25 gift cards for attendees. Early bird tickets start at $115. 1051 N. Highland Street.
- The Renegade: Northern Virginia pop punk band Tunnel’s End performs from 9:30 p.m.-1 a.m. 3100 Clarendon Blvd.
- Wilson Hardware: The eighth annual “Wilson Wonderland” includes DJ EKU, party favors and a light show. Early bird tickets start at $40. 2915 Wilson Blvd.
Crystal City and Pentagon City
- Crystal City Sports Pub: The pub’s party includes dancing, champagne and live music by Too Extra. Festivities start at 8 p.m. 529 23rd Street S.
- Hyatt Regency Crystal City: Casino Night has five entertainment rooms, 15 bars and several DJs, including special guest Kid Capri. General admission starts at $85. 2799 Richmond Hwy.
- Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel: A family-friendly gala with the Northern Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce includes music and dance. Admission starts at $99. Dress code: formal attire. 900 S. Orme Street.
Columbia Pike
- The Arlington Drafthouse: See Saturday Night Live cast member Emil Wakim for standup comedy at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. After the final show, the venue will show the Times Square ball drop on its big screen. 2903 Columbia Pike.
- Kabana Restaurant and Lounge: The venue hosts music by DJ Mixxed and D.C.-area belly dancer Asala. The party starts at 10 p.m. and admission is free. 3111 Columbia Pike.
Courthouse and Rosslyn
- Fire Works Pizza: “An Incidental New Year’s Eve” comes with an open bar and heated patio. D.C.-area band Collective and DJ P Mic D are performing. Admission starts at $75 and spots must be reserved. 2350 Clarendon Blvd.
- Inca Social: A “Gold & Glow”-themed party at 9 p.m. featuring DJ Tito and dining specials. A $5 early bird cover fee includes a shooter and midnight champagne. 1776 Wilson Blvd.
Shirlington
- Astro Beer Hall and 1969: This 1960s-themed party starts at 9 p.m. and includes discounted mini donuts and $10 champagne bottles, while supplies last. The guest with the best costume wins a $100 gift card. 4001 Campbell Avenue.
Not in the party mood? Several restaurants are offering New Year’s Eve prix fixe dinners, including Corso Italian in Shirlington, Láylí Mediterranean in Clarendon, Ambar Clarendon and The Melting Pot in Ballston.
