Man seriously injured after being struck by bottle and tased in Pentagon City

A man was hospitalized with serious injuries after he was found bleeding profusely Saturday night in Pentagon City.

The man was attacked with a glass bottle and a Taser by a man and a woman he knew, who then stole his wallet and phone, police said.

Police later located the original crime scene — a stairwell in the area of the Westpost shopping center. An ARLnow reader sent a photo of the bloody scene, above, adding that people who live in an apartment building nearby were not told what happened.

Warrants, meanwhile, have been issued for the suspects, police say.
