A taste of France is preparing to come to Arlington and Falls Church later this year.
French-inspired bakery and cafe Paris Baguette is planning to open locations in Clarendon and the Little City several months from now, franchisee Sean Kim told ARLnow. The expanding business has 200 North American locations and a goal of opening 1,000 United States stores by 2030.
Expect September and November openings
- Arlington’s Paris Baguette is slated to open in September in the Hartford Building at 3101 Wilson Blvd, alongside future confectionary tenant, Kilwins.
- The Falls Church location hopes to open a couple months later in the Tower Square Shopping Center at 169 Hillwood Avenue.
- Kim has been a Paris Baguette franchisee since 2020. The new bakeries will be his third and fourth locations, joining others in Fairfax and McLean.
Paris Baguette offers classic French goods
- The business sells quiche, croquettes and a variety of French pastries, in addition to cakes, tarts, donuts and seasonal espresso drinks.
- Meal options include salads, wraps and croissant breakfast sandwiches. Some locations also sell imported French goods, like jams and prepackaged snacks.
- Catering packages and six varieties of specialty cakes are made to order, with toppings like strawberries, shaved chocolate and whipped cream frosting.
New locations have seating by the dozen
- The Clarendon location may be able to seat up to 90 guests, with 60 seats indoors and between 20 and 30 outside.
- The larger Falls Church location may be able to seat up to 130 guests, with 80 seats indoors and about 50 more outside.
