Pool hall in former Silver Diner spot rebrands as ‘Clarendon 54’

A pool hall and bar in Clarendon’s former Silver Diner space has a new name.

Billiards, Bites and Beverages at 3200 Wilson Blvd is taking on a shorter new moniker: Clarendon 54. ARLnow readers spotted new exterior signs for the club last week.

A formal announcement is coming April 5

  • That’s according to a teaser video the business posted on social media over the weekend.
  • Located near pool hall Spider Kelly’s and a handful of nightlife options, the establishment appears to be leaning further into a nightclub aesthetic.

The property remains slated for redevelopment

  • The Arlington County Board approved plans to construct an apartment building and hotel at 3200 Wilson Blvd back in September 2023.
  • The 81,000-square-foot redevelopment site is also home to the Arlington Beer Garden, Joyce Motors and two office buildings.

Clarendon 54 and developer Donohoe Companies did not respond to requests for comment.
