Power is out in the Pentagon City area, though it’s not clear why.
The outage, extending a several block radius around the Pentagon City Metro station, started around 2:30-3 p.m. today.
A total of 2,433 Dominion customers were in the dark as of 3 p.m., according to the power company’s website. A number of traffic lights are also reported to be out in the area.
The cause is listed as “pending investigation” and the estimated restoration time is listed as 5-8 p.m.
