Paragon Theaters opens in Falls Church tomorrow with discounted tickets

A new movie theater in Falls Church is opening its doors tomorrow (Friday).

The new Paragon Theaters at 112 Founders Avenue will offer $8 movie tickets now through June 30 to welcome its first guests. The location originally planned to open over Memorial Day weekend.

“The surrounding community has anxiously awaited our theater’s opening, and we are so excited to finally open the doors to our guests,” CEO Mike Whalen said in a release. “Our Founders Row venue blends premium technology and service to create the finest moviegoing experience in the DMV.”

Movies start this weekend

  • Shows at Paragon will include the live-action “Lilo and Stitch,” “Karate Kid: Legends” and the latest “Mission: Impossible” film.
  • The new theater is equipped with seven auditoriums, recliner seats and a full-service bar. Moviegoers can order refreshments from QR codes on their tray tables.
  • Paragon offers a $5 “Ticket Tuesday” promo for most films, as well as $9 tickets to military personnel and government employees and their families.

The grand opening is July 1

  • The theater plans to mark the occasion with showings of “Jurassic World Rebirth,” which comes out on July 2.
  • A kids summer movie series is currently in the works. The theater also hopes to host sensory friendly movie nights.
