Summer Restaurant Week starts Monday in Arlington and Falls Church

Prix fixe dining deals are coming soon to the D.C. area with the start of this summer’s Restaurant Week.

Over two dozen restaurants in Arlington and Falls Church are expected to participate in the biannual promotion, which kicks off on Monday, Aug. 18 and lasts through Sunday, Aug. 24. These include spots like the new Bar Chinois in Crystal City and ARLnow reader favorite Lyon Hall.

Depending on the restaurant, multi-course brunch and lunch menus will be available for $25 or $35 per person, while dinners will go for $40, $55 or $65 per person. Some establishments may also offer alcoholic beverage pairings at an additional cost.

This year’s promotion by the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington comes with a new sweepstakes. Diners who eat at participating restaurants with live jazz music may enter to win DC Jazz Festival tickets, a free dinner and hotel accommodations at the Wharf.

“Restaurant Week is the perfect time to explore and support local restaurants, connect with friends and family over incredible meals, and experience the passion and creativity of our chefs at an amazing value,” RAMW CEO Shawn Townsend said in a release.
