Tatte plans mid-October opening in Falls Church

In less than a month’s time, the Little City will welcome a new Tatte.

The cafe’s extensive D.C.-area presence is expanding to the ground floor of Modera Falls Church apartments next month at 1001 W. Broad Street.

Tatte opens Wednesday, Oct. 15

  • The new cafe takes up 3,798 square feet of space in one of the building’s five retail bays. It is currently hiring for several positions.
  • A pre-opening “Friends & Family” event is happening on Monday, Oct. 13. Reservations are now closed.
  • Falls Church doesn’t currently have a Tatte, but Arlington is home to two Tatte cafes in Crystal City and Clarendon.

At Modera, more retail is underway

  • Next door to Tatte, Livewell Animal Hospital and the new Thai restaurant MyHome Thai Bistro are under construction.
  • The property is finalizing a lease for an unnamed full-service restaurant that will fulfill about 3,453 square feet, a Mill Creek Residential representative told ARLnow.
  • The building is also expected to welcome hair removal studio SEV Laser sometime in early 2026.
