Tatte plans mid-October opening in Falls Church

In less than a month’s time, the Little City will welcome a new Tatte.

The cafe’s extensive D.C.-area presence is expanding to the ground floor of Modera Falls Church apartments next month at 1001 W. Broad Street.

Tatte opens Wednesday, Oct. 15

The new cafe takes up 3,798 square feet of space in one of the building’s five retail bays. It is currently hiring for several positions.
A pre-opening “Friends & Family” event is happening on Monday, Oct. 13. Reservations are now closed.
Falls Church doesn’t currently have a Tatte, but Arlington is home to two Tatte cafes in Crystal City and Clarendon.

At Modera, more retail is underway

Next door to Tatte, Livewell Animal Hospital and the new Thai restaurant MyHome Thai Bistro are under construction.
The property is finalizing a lease for an unnamed full-service restaurant that will fulfill about 3,453 square feet, a Mill Creek Residential representative told ARLnow.
The building is also expected to welcome hair removal studio SEV Laser sometime in early 2026.
