New Clarendon skin care studio opens with repaired windows after vandalism

A new facial studio has opened in Clarendon with a repaired storefront, just days after the business’s windows were shattered in a vandalism last week.

Glowbar is now in business with fresh windows at 2930 Clarendon Blvd, where Verizon closed earlier this year. This is the skin care brand’s first Virginia location.

Its hours are 8 a.m.-9 p.m.

  • The studio has six private facial rooms and a small retail section with skin care products.
  • Glowbar specializes in 30-minute facials by licensed estheticians, available at a discounted rate for monthly members.
  • The business is offering six-month “founding memberships” for $60.

It’s a growing business

  • Glowbar was ranked among America’s fastest growing private companies in this year’s Inc. 5000 list. The company has opened over 20 spas on the East Coast since its founding in 2019.
  • The New York City-based company has two D.C. locations in Georgetown and Logan Circle.
  • Next-door in Clarendon, “Oasis: The Listening Bar” — another storefront damaged in last week’s vandalism — has also reopened with repaired windows.
