The ARLnow Shop is back open for the holiday season and we need to stock it with new items.
Unfortunately, inside jokes about the gondola and brown flip flops are getting a bit long in the tooth, so we’re in need of new ideas. That’s where you come in — this year we’re asking readers to help us with design ideas.
What kind of designs are we looking for? Think local landmarks, neighborhood quirks, stuff that makes you laugh — anything that captures life in Arlington and Falls Church, which you would want to actually wear. We’re mostly looking for t-shirt ideas but bonus points for ideas that work coffee mugs or other stuff found here. Keep it clever, keep it clean, and keep it local.
While you can always email your ideas, we want to make this interactive. So post your ideas for Arlington- and Falls Church-related t-shirts and other merch in the comments and for the ideas that get the most upvotes (or a chuckle from our staff) we’ll try to create (and post) the designs in real time.
The best designs will be added to the ARLnow Shop, where you can purchase them, show off your local pride and give the bonus pool for our staff a few extra bucks. Your idea might even become the next iconic piece of Arlington swag. Happy designing!
